Windows Phone and why I think its a bad idea

I have an android and it looks different from my friend's droids... That's differentiation. But with windows Phone, there will never be a compelling need to upgrade coz you use one phone, you've used them all!

IPMART-FORUM Dead?

Among other news today, ipmart forum has been dead, for over 2 days now.

For those unfamiliar with www.ipmart-forum.com (it still persists in the google index), it was a huge forum for exchange of SmartPhone Software. Its pages contained thousands of cra**ed apps.
I'm not sure its dead, but 2 days is a long time... Well, for the sake of its members, i hope it comes back up online....

New Google Logo!!!

This evening, i was chatting on gtalk n fb, when this really wierd, "Video Game" tune, from the Nintendo days starts playing real loud. So, i was confused and opened up task manager to see if wmplayer.exe had decided to suddenly play crap, without showing itself.
Nope, Nothing....
So, i searched for the rogue process, only to find it was none other than chrome, with the google tab open.

The new Google Logo was awesome, a real live doodle, the first of its kind from google (they got some real smart people!!!)...

The logo is actually playable with 256 levels, complete with the killscreen on Level 256. I played through a few levels in multiplayer (u gotta press the insert coin in slot button for that)....

Its totally javascript, and the game starts up even when you dont want it to! Come on Google, a great number of people spend a lot of time staring at your homepage, atleast give us a way to tune the annoying music off (without turning off javascript).
I've been hearing reports of it being playable on the Nexus, as well as the Iphone. Now thats cool....
Now to test my own symbian smartphone.... Google, smart but seriously, turn off the music, or put in a play button to start the game!!

Nevertheless, an awesome way to commemorate the early days of gaming... Thats for sure....

UPDATE : A Mute Volume Button has been added... Good job google!!!
